Manor House and Castle




 

 

The central room in the castle is the airy Tiled Hall, decorated during the major restorations in the 1750s by the Ghamberlain, Niels Juel. The wooden female figures symbolise the four seasons. They originate from the beginning of the eighteenth century.


Covering more than 8.000 m2 the castle is the largest private home in Denmark. The Westindian bedroom in one of the 21 accessible galleries and rooms.
